Oppo F11 Pro may just be the hottest smartphone to hit the market this year. It is all set to put the world into a spin, thanks to its unique dual cameras. The Oppo F11 Pro features a six-megapixel primary camera as well as an eight-megapixel secondary camera for boosting photo shooting efficiency. The F11 Pro also sportes a big six.5-inch full-HD screen and boasts a 90.9% display-to Body ratio.
The Oppo F11 Pro comes in two variants, each with their own unique selling proposition. The primary model has a capacity of Vodafone’s HSDPA/HDCPA rate 2.0. It offers standard UK coverage as well as additional coverage for some European countries like Ireland and Spain. The second variant of this handset comes with a memory boost, allowing the device to retain information longer when the battery is switched off. It also features a higher mega pixel camera with a wide colour spectrum.
Like many premium handsets from Samsung, the Oppo F11 Pro comes with an almost stock android experience with a slight variation in the wallpaper and various cosmetic features. The unique feature which sets the Oppo apart from the pack is the iris scanner, which allows you to use an image of your own that you have loaded on the device to instantly lock your smartphone when you are not near it. Another unique feature of the Oppo F11 Pro apart from the iris scanner is the fingerprint sensor, which has been designed to work with the Oppo Ease pen format. The fingerprint sensor is located at the top right corner of the device and can be activated either by pressing on the home key or by using the stylus.
One of the biggest advantages of the oppo f11 pro compared to its competitors is the presence of a dual cameras – a front and rear facing one – as well as a laser detecting sensor. The laser detecting sensor is probably the best on any smartphone at the moment, as it detects the difference between an object and the lens reflecting off it. This means that if you are taking photos of a moving object, such as a child or a moving car, the phone comes alive when you tap on the sensor. This added ability also makes the device easier to use for capturing high definition video, as the depth effects of the camera will make the phone come alive when you use it for this purpose.
The Oppo F11 Pro does not have a lot of unique selling features compared to its peers. The one thing that it does have though, is a very attractive price tag which puts it in a category all its own. The power button is located on the top left hand corner of the phone, next to the optical zoom button. The phone comes with a volume slider which controls the volume of the sound that the phone takes, as well as a flashlight, a heart rate monitor, a call and wake button which goes to either the call recipient’s or the screen, depending on which model you buy. If you want to activate the flashlight, you can do so by pressing the back key although this feature has been removed from the standard variant of the phone. The screen has a very bright and crisp display which looks great, especially when viewing YouTube videos, but does have some catching up to do with color accuracy.
Despite the good looks of the Oppo F11 Pro, the main selling point of this handset is its high performance. It runs Windows Phone 8 well, has a robust hardware design, a large display, and plenty of memory to store all your favourite apps and games. Windows Mobile offers some great functionality in the form of built in widgets, allowing you to access a whole host of data from the homescreen which is extremely easy to use. There are also plenty of unique functions that Windows Phones come with which will appeal to the camera conscious user. You can get the camera control to alter your photography settings to time lapse sequences which will really help you capture stunning images. The Oppo F11 Pro will appeal to a lot of people, and if you have not yet had a chance to see what you are missing you should definitely go out and buy the Oppo F11 Pro for yourself!
